Phillip T. Wylkan, CERTIFED Elder Law and Estate Planning

As the sole proprietor in the Law Offices of Phillip T. Wylkan Law Firm, Phillip prepares comprehensive estate plans incorporating such documents as revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, pour over wills, various powers of attorney as well as deeds and documents which assist clients with all of their Medicaid and Estate Planning needs. He also works extensively in Trust Administration. As a certified attorney specializing in Elder Law and Estate Planning since 2011, Phillip is an expert in his field and has met rigorous standards while adding continuing legal education, maintaining good standing, and completing recertification every six years. In Northwest Ohio he is currently the only C.E.L.A. in practice.  

Attorney Wylkan enjoys public speaking on such topics as Medicaid, Estate Planning, and current Elder Law issues with professionals, civic groups, and the public to help keep dialogue open in these important matters.

Phillip T. Wylkan received his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy from Rutgers University and his Juris Doctorate from Lewis and Clark Law School, Portland, Oregon. During law school, he worked for the both the Oregon Department of Justice and later as a court certified student prosecutor at Multnomah County Prosecutor’s Office, engaging in extensive trial work. Phillip T. Wylkan became a member of the Ohio State Bar in November 2005. After working in general practice for two years, he joined the Hall Law Firm in August 2008. He began to immerse himself in the subjects of elder law, estate planning, and probate. 

Attorney Wylkan is a member of Lawyers with Purpose (LWP). LWP assists attorneys across the country by serving as a catalyst for systemized legal success and value learning, possibility, respect, and community.
